Alleged presence of suspected ritualists in Alisimie community in Agbor, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State has thrown the people of the community into fear.
Sources said two of the suspected ritualists were allegedly spotted in one of the villages (Ahima) and again in Idumuenor.
A woman, who went to harvest cassava was said to have narrowly escaped from the suspected ritualists, who were on the prowl for women private parts, heightening fears, tension and anxiety in the community as women no longer go to farm, unless accompanied by their husbands or grown up children.
The people of Idumuenor village were said to have combed the bush to apprehend the suspected ritualists following the development, without luck.
In his reaction, Chairman of Alisimie Central Executive Committee, Mr. Augustine Uwagwu, urged the people in the community to be vigilant.
He also called on the Delta State Government and the security agencies in the state to assist the community in addressing the alleged security threat.
