In his latest comment via social media networking website, Twitter, on Tuesday, the 31-year-old stated in a veiled post about his intention to buy out his deal at The Hawthorns.
“I see a free player. A player who buys out his contract soon. Or a retired player. Does he looks like he cares much? They made him not to,” wrote Odemwingie word-for-word.
The forward was actually hinted of Fifa transfer regulation under Article 17 which allows players above the age of 28 to buy out their contract by one of his Twitter followers.
Fifa transfer regulation under Article 17 allows players above 28 years to terminate their contracts two years after signing through a compensation determined by their weekly wage and original transfer fee.
In the summer of 2010, Odemwingie signed a two-year deal with Albion with an option of a third and is now in the third year of his West Brom career.
Odemwingie's latest Twitter comment comes after he had called on the club to sack him.
Odemwingie is scheduled to return to West Brom on Wednesday after a short break in Dubai with his family.
The forward is reportedly faced with another big fine for flouting the club's rules on the use of social media networking websites after hitting out that the English side are out to destroy his career.
The former Bendel Insurance FC man has made just four appearances for West Brom as a substitute since his January deadline day saga when he thought he had been cleared to join Queens Park Rangers.
