A can of warms was opened when 35-year-old woman simply identified as Bidemi urged a Grade ‘B’ Customary Court sitting in Orile-Agege to dissolve her 15-year-old marriage on the grounds of her husband’s frequent flogging and threat to life.
Meanwhile, the husband, Kazeem Tijani, did not only deny the allegations by his estranged wife, he also went ahead and threw a bomb shell when he alleged that his wife, Bidemi, is a prostitute.
However, oh her own part, Bidemi, a trader and resident of 5, Powerline Street, Orile Agege, told the court that her husband behaves like animal. In her words, ”My husband will be mistaken for a beast when he is beating me because he hits anywhere in my body and does not care if the beating results to death”, she said.
