Anyone Who Comes Between a Married Couple Should Be Jailed – Actress Omotola.

Award winning actress, Omotola Jalde Ekeinde, in an interview with Encomium magazine, said that anyone who comes between a married couple deserve to be jailed because that person is robbing the couple of their joy.

“I think it should be a crime for anyone to come in between a couple. I feel anybody that comes between a married couple be a man or woman should go to jail. Such a person is robbing the family of their joy. To me, it is a crime that is worse than stealing another person’s property” she said. Continue

Speaking about what has kept her marriage going for 8 years, Omotola said

“I would say first it is the fear of God. Then the fact that the reason we do all we do or the person we are all answerable to is God. He is the one guiding us. I would not lie to you that there was no time we almost gave up on both sides but at the end of the day you know you are answerable to God for whatever you do. There fore take your worry to him. And the reason you don’t do anything stupid is because this person is not you are answerable to ultimately but God. So when God knows you depend on him that much, i think alone that helps you. Second is patience. You have to be very patient in every relationship, not just marriage. I feel very sad that a lot of people put so much pressure these days on marriages succeeding or not as if it is an alien relationship. The truth of the matter is that people fight their fathers, you fight your best friends. So why is it that you feel that you and your spouse can’t fight or quarrel?”

Speaking about her husband, Omotola said he’s been of great support to her

“He has been supportive. He has been an angel. He is my rock of Gibraltar. I would say my husband is my fan so also my critic. Most important he has been my pillar of support. If you are doing this job, you feel like you always want to fear what somebody would feel about you. When I am talking of somebody, I mean your parent or husband, somebody that means something to you, that limits you as a creative mind. God is my witness, my husband has never for once felt anything negative about me being an actress. In 2016, we are going to celebrate 20 years of marriage. I can’t remember anytime I wanted to do anything and he kicked against it violently. I have had to travel out of the country sometimes, it may be the same day he would know. You are also aware of the sensitivity of our job, we are very disorganized often times. You know how it feels for you to tell your husband that one thing you have been pursuing for the past three months, all of a sudden, you just got a call that they have bought flight ticket for you and you are going for maybe one week. So naturally that’s just something you would say no, you can’t. But I would go and tell him and he would be like wow! He would even encourage me to go. He is very understanding and very supportive” she said

Omotola says featuring in the movie, The Prostitute and the controversies that surrounded the movie was the only time she felt her profession threaten her marriage.

“The only time I would say I worried was when the movie, The Prostitute came out and that was the first major shaking I had. It was like a kind controversy. From the movie poster to the s*x scenes, whatever in that movie that was shot after I left there was shot as if I was the one who did it. And you know Nigeria was not ready for that so there was a lot of controversy around that. So that was the only time I really worried about my marriage and to be frank and candid, until my husband told me he wasn’t bothered, then I had peace”.

vs. 24: “after these days, his wife Elizabeth conceived on the SECOND MONTH of the year, and for FIVE MONTHS she hid herself saying…”
The above bible passage states that Elizabeth got pregnant (conceived) on the second month of the year, which is FEBUARY. And for five months, she hid the pregnancy; Five months from february is JUNE.
vs. 26: “in the SIXTH MONTH, the angel Gabriel was sent from God…”
This sixth month stated in the passage is still June, in which is the fifth month Elizabeth hid her pregnancy, but God sent an angel to Mary (vs. 27) and revealed to her of Elizabeth’s hidden pregnancy (vs. 36).
The angel also told Mary that she will concieve (vs. 31).
After that, Mary went to stay with Elizabeth (vs 39-40)
vs 56: “and Mary remained with her about THREE MONTHS, and returned to her home”
This states clearly that On the ninth month which when Elizabeth should give birth was October (9 months from Febuary is October)
vs 59-60 states that John was born & circumsied on the 8th of october.
Futhermore bible researchs shows that John the baptist was 3months older than Jesus Christ; (vs. 26: mary returned home because her own pregenacy was due)

Now 3months later, Mary gave birth (vs. 1-7).
Ceaser Augustus made a decree on the first day of a new year, that everyone should enroll in the first world census. Mary and Joseph travelled to bethlehem few days after the decree, and that day happened to be 8th of January, in which was the same day Jesus was born. (vs. 6,7,21), Surprisingly Jesus was born on the 8th of January.
Now, why december 25th as the birth of Jesus?
December 25th was a date fixed by the vatican roman empire as the celebration day of Jesus Christ. But that date, happened to coincide with the date of the death of a wicked king.

Davido, Phyno, Basket Mouth, Others Excite Fans At Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged

The highly publicised Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged which has been enjoying great media presence for weeks, took place on Friday and lived up to its rating as the biggest entertainment event to hold in Nigeria this year. This edition was special as it marked the 10th anniversary of the event.

Attracting the best entertainers the country can boast of, the event which took place in Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos, was anchored by the hilarious duo of Basket Mouth and IK of the Big Brother fame. Both cracked ribs with ensuring there was no dull moment during the all night show.

 

DJ Humility was on hand and he dished out tunes that no feet at the event resisted the compelling invitation to dance. The acts that raised the curtain did a good job as their outstanding performance led the way for the top entertainers to build on. Amongst them are Mr. 2K, El-Prince, Ruby Gyang and some others.

Commenting on the event, an elated Head of Marketing, Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Norden Thurston, said: “The array of stars at Pepsi Rhythm Unplugged goes to show the huge talent base in this country. This creative gifts lie with the youths and who could better project and support the youth more than a youth brand like Pepsi that has over the years been involved with youth and talent.”

The audience, tired from dancing all night felt there was nothing else that could separate them from their seats but when Olamide and Phyno climbed the stage to deliver what is undoubted their best performances, the audience took over the singing of familiar hits like “Awon Goons Mi” and “Man of the Year”.

 

But the best was yet to come as the audience found out. At the mention of Wizkid, the fans at the auditorium went wild with excitement. Wizkid, came on and melted hearts like a hot knife on butter. The Pepsi ambassador’s performance had many female fans standing on their chairs in a bid to catch a glimpse of the talented artiste.

It was a beautiful night to cherish, one that best exemplified Pepsi as a brand with high Pop culture and entertainment value.

A suicide bomber who rammed into a military check point in Bajoga, Gombe State yesterday, failed to achieve his mission. Photos of the teenager shot dead by police in St. Louis yesterday

This is the 18 year old young man who was shot dead yesterday Dec. 23rd by a police officer at a gas station not far from where Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, Missouri. But the police say this is a totally different case because Antonio Martin had a gun and pointed it at 34yr old unnamed officer, who pulled out his own gun and shot three times, killing Antonio.

 

Antonio pictured above pointing a gun at the police officer as the officer responded to a call of a theft in the area. The police officer fired three shots, one hitting the teen. Antonio, who didn't fire his weapon, was pronounced dead at the scene by responding EMS officers. 

During a press conference later, the police said Antonio was known to them and had previous charges including three assaults, armed robbery, armed criminal action and multiple uses of weapons since he was 17.
