lol dis is crazy!! ; Photos: Weird! Prisoner Trapped In Wall During Attempted Escape

Rafael Valadao must have under estimated the size of his body when his attempts to escape jail ended in humiliation – when he got stuck in a hole he helped smash in his cell wall.
Firefighters had to free the 16-stone (approx. 102kg) prisoner when his belly stopped him making his break for freedom.
“We Gotcha!” Prison Guards Seem To Be Saying To Prisoner Who Got Stuck In Wall In Failed Prison Break
To make matters worse thereby compounding his embarrassment, prison guards stood round laughing as the operation to release him swung into action.
Authorities were last night hunting for a thinner cell-mate who managed to escape first.
Two other inmates waiting behind Rafael also saw their hopes of freedom thwarted by the unexpected hitch in their escape bid.
The four hatched their escape plan at a jail in Ceres in the central Brazilian state of Goias.
Ouch! Rafael Valadao Can’t Get Back Inside Prison Wall Or Escape
Firefighters stepped in around 2am on Tuesday after the two inmates waiting their turn behind Rafael failed in various attempts to push him through the hole they had made with a metal bar.
He was later taken to hospital under police protection with a suspected broken rib.
A police spokesman said: “He was screaming with pain when help arrived.
“He seemed to have underestimated the size of his stomach.”

Robbery Suspect Brags About Her Bank Job On YouTube

We thought the thief who got caught when he went back for the gun his supposed victim wrestled from him was the dumbest thief of all time, but now someone else has shown a level of stupidity.
Meet the dumbest criminal of all time.
According to authorities, a woman accused of robbing a bank in eastern Nebraska posted a video on YouTube bragging about the same robbery.

According to the NY Daily News, Hannah Sabata, 19, faces theft and robbery charges in connection with the Nov. 28 holdup at a Cornerstone Bank in Waco, Neb. Sabata was also allegedly driving a stolen car, what she described as a “shiny” Pontiac Grand Am.
But people used to say criminal minds are ingenious; this?

Man Jailed For Shipping 80,000 AK47 Rifles, Ammunition To Nigeria

An arms dealer who arraigned to sell 80,000 AK47 assault rifles and 32 million rounds of ammunition to Nigeria has been jailed for seven years, just months after a judge threw the case out of court.
Gary Hyde, 42, oversaw the £800,000 shipment of tens of thousands of assault rifles, 9mm pistols, rifles, and bullets, from China to Africa in 2007, according to the Telegraph.
Hyde, who started in the gun trade when he was 14, flouted British legislation designed to control the trade and transportation of the weapons despite being regarded as an “authority” on those laws.
The businessman, based in York, acted in “a deliberate and calculated breach of the law” to pull off the $1.3m (£808,000) deal in return for around £280,000, which he attempted to hide in a bank account in Liechtenstein.
The account was registered in the name of a trust of which Hyde and his children were named as the sole beneficiaries.
It is thought the weapons were being bought on behalf of the Nigerian Police Force.
The Nation could not reach the police authorities last night.
Spokesman Frank Mba’s telephone was ringing but not replied.
After a ten-day trial in October, a jury unanimously convicted Hyde of two counts of breaching UK laws and one count of concealing criminal property.
Hyde, who has no previous convictions, was initially tried on the same charges in January of this year.
But several days into the first trial, Judge Nicholas Loraine-Smith discharged the jury and said: ‘I’ve come to the conclusion this fails in law on the particular facts of case.
“It is to do with the framing of the Trade in Goods (Control) Order 2003, the bedrock of this particular case.”
He later explained he had identified errors between guidance documents to the legislation and the legislation itself that meant it was not possible to continue.
He said: “In my view, the jury, properly directed, could not be satisfied that the defendant intended to evade that particular prohibition and accordingly I’ve concluded that this prosecution must fail.”
But prosecutors took the case to the Court of Appeal and the judge’s decision to terminate the trial was overruled. Southwark Crown Court then began the second trial and sentenced Hyde to seven years yesterday.
Prosecutor Mukul Chawla QC said: “This case is about the shipment of huge quantity of guns and ammunition from China to Nigeria in 2007.
“That shipment, because it was being partly arranged and organised from the UK by Gary Hyde, required the permission of the Department for Business, Innovation, and Skills in the form of a licence.
“Mr Hyde, despite knowing that such a licence was required, helped to organise that shipment without seeking and obtaining the required licence.
“This was not an oversight but, say the prosecution, a deliberate and calculated breach of the law.
“In order to ensure that his illegal activities were not drawn to the attention of the UK authorities he placed, and thus concealed, the profits from this illegal trade in to a bank account in Liechtenstein.”
Mr Chawla said Hyde flouted UK legislation despite being “very familiar” with it.
“You will see evidence that he is in fact seen to be something of an authority on the matter,” he said.
Hyde, who was director of York Guns Ltd and Jago Ltd, based in Britain, brokered the deal alongside German businessman Karl Kleber, the owner of Transarms Handelgesellschaft, based in Worms, in Germany.
They dealt with two Irish men, Brendan Cahill and Neil Murray, who represented the Polish companies Deftech Ltd and Pinimi Ltd, which were acting for the Nigerian purchaser.
The guns had originally been expected to come from Chinese firm China Jing An Import and Export Corp, but the deal fell through and Hyde and Kleber turned to another Chinese firm, Poly Technologies Inc.
Commission agreements were signed for Hyde on behalf of a company called EWH Consultancy Ltd, which had been incorporated by Hyde in the British Virgin Islands in 2004. The sole shareholder of EWH was Hyde’s WHEK Trust.
Hyde smuggled 40,000 AK47 assault rifles, 30,000 other rifles, 10,000 9mm pistols and 32m rounds of ammunition.
He claimed he had not been in the UK at critical times when the deal was being negotiated and therefore had not flouted UK legislation.
In a prepared statement, given after his arrest in 2009, Hyde said: “I do not believe that I engaged in any activity in the UK which I understand required a licence but where instead I decided to ignore that obligation.”
Stephen Solley QC, defending, had argued he was a “legitimate businessman” and said the allegation he knowingly broke UK law was “ludicrous”.
He said: “The idea you could be sure this man put two fingers up to the criminal law knowingly is completely ridiculous.”
Jailing Hyde, Judge Loraine-Smith said: “You are a man of good character who started work at York Guns when you were only 14, and by 2003 you had built that into an international wholesaler with 20 staff.
“There were numerous lawful and properly completed deals, many involving this country’s armed forces, but then you became carried away with the enormous profits you could see could be made.
“I accept that you opened the account in Liechtenstein to reduce your tax liabilities in lawful ways but it was conveniently there for you to launder the money from this unlawful deal.
“Applying for a license would have been very easy, but I very much suspect that you thought that applying for a licence would have risked the UK authorities finding out about your substantial earnings.”
He added: “You have shown a lot of remorse for the position you find yourself in but it was not reflected by a guilty plea.”
Hyde, of Mask Lane, Newton on Derwent, Yorkshire, denied two counts of becoming knowingly concerned in the movement of controlled goods between March 1, 2006, and December 31, 2007, and one count of concealing criminal property between March 1, 2006, and December 16, 2008.

Amazing: Nine Month Old Twins Can Swim Length Of A 25m Swimming Pool Unaided

Proud Parents Vic and Charley Flaunt Their Twins
Imagine the shock a parent is likely to express when they find out their child of nine months is able to swim the length of a swimming pool. That shock is more prominent when at that age they cannot sit up, crawl or walk on their own, but amazingly, put them in a pool and they will swim the entire length of a 25m pool unaided.
That is the strange but true story of Ellie and William Trykush, twins, born to proud first-time parents, Vic and Charley Trykush. The Trykush did not think their babies had a special talent, until they took them to parent and baby swimming classes for the first time.
Charley said: “I thought all babies could do it.
“It wasn’t until we came to swimming lessons and people got so excited about it that we realised just how unusual it was and how clever they were.”
Already, Dad Vic has his sights on seeing his water babies in the Olympics.
He said: “Now they can swim and seeing that they were born in an Olympic year, 2012, I would love to see them at the 2028 Olympics possibly, when they’re 16, doing the open water swim.

hmmmm up till now i never sabi swim lol

World’s Oldest Person And Tallest Woman Die Days Apart

The world’s oldest person has died – just days after the world’s tallest woman passed away. Besse Cooper died peacefully yesterday at her Georgia nursing home, at the age of 116.
World’s Oldest Person According To Guinness World Records @ 116: Besse Cooper
Her son, Sidney said his mum had been ill over the weekend with a stomach virus, but started to feel better on Monday. He said she had her hair set and watched a Christmas video yesterday, but later had trouble breathing, was put on oxygen in her room and died in the afternoon.
Mrs Cooper was declared the world’s oldest person in January, but in May, Guinness World Records learned that Brazilian Maria Gomes Valentin was 48 days older. Ms Valentin died on June 21.
A Guinness official says the title now belongs to 115-year-old Dina Manfredini, of Johnston, Iowa.
Mrs Cooper’s death comes just days after the world’s tallest woman, Yao Defen, died in China at the age of 39.

Weird: Dogs Being Trained to Drive Cars! Care for a Ride?

Imagine yourself driving, you take a look at your rear-view mirror and find the car right behind you is being driven by a dog! Well, this might as well be happening soon as some animal experts are teaching dogs how to drive.
According to the experts, it took three Mutts just eight weeks to master the basics in wooden carts. They then graduated to a modified Mini in which they sat on their haunches in the driver’s seat with their paws on the steering wheel. Their feet go on extension levers which are attached to the accelerator and the brake while their paw rests on the gearstick.
Sounds weird right? An animal welfare group in New Zealand trained the dogs to get behind the wheel in an attempt to show the public how intelligent they are. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals will put them to the test in a live broadcast next Monday!
The dogs have been trained in specially made wooden carts which they have been driving around inside an indoor test lab. Mark Vette, the animal trainer who is schooling the dogs, said in a preview of the show that they treated the training like a ‘film shoot’, in reference to his work in the movies.
He said: ‘We train the dogs to do different actions, touch is the first thing and then we teach them to touch the different objects with the right paw and left paw… They’ve all come through at this point and they’re all going really well.”

Covenant University Expels Over 200 Students

The University authorities of Covenant University, Canaanland, Ota in Ogun state, last Saturday expelled over 200 students for varied offences.
A source told us that trouble started when the Chancellor of the institution, Bishop David Oyedepo visited the school chapel unannounced and noticed that some students were loitering around the chapel, some talking and others were playing while the Vice Chancellor was giving a speech in the school’s chapel.
Our source confirmed that the very strict chancellor was very angry towards the attitude of the students and immediately called on the Dean of Student Affairs, Mr Bassey, for a brief meeting outside the chapel, while other members of staff including the VC joined in the meeting too.
It was also gathered that the students knowing the sanctions that can befall them started running into the chapel, scrambling for available seats while some boys who did not have ties on where seen looking for ways to acquire some, even a group of boys numbering up to five allegedly took a girl’s scarf and ripped it to shreds using the parts to produce makeshift ties in an attempt not to get into trouble.
It was reported that shortly after the brief meeting, the institution’s Education Secretary, Mrs Aize Obayan addressed the student, but noticed that as she was speaking, the students were murmuring.
Our source said the Chancellor then walked up to the podium and politely took the microphone from Mrs Obayan and said ”if i hear the voice of any student, the curse of the Lord shall fall upon that one” and immediately, the chapel went dead silent.
Our source further told us that following this unruly behaviour of the students, the Chancellor spoke on the topic Discipline and his vision for the university that night and immediately he finished, the VC asked all students present to wait behind because a search was going to be carried out in all the halls in order to fish out students who did not attend the service.
He revealed that twenty-five final year students were caught, undisclosed number of lower level students while two others were caught smoking marijuana.
He confirmed to us that over 200 were expelled last Saturday.
The Bishop David Oyedepo privately owned university is known for its strict rules and discipline such as not allowing the students to use mobile phones within the school’s premises, while it is mandatory for students to always bring their bible to the general morning assembly and other rules too numerous to mention in this report.

7-Year-Old Boy Beaten To Death For Failing To Read His Bible

Police in Las Vegas allege that a 7-year-old boy was beaten to death by his parents after failing to read the Bible or do his homework.
Roderick “RJ” Arrington Jr., was admitted to an area hospital on Nov. 29 because he was unresponsive, according to the Las Vegas Sun. Personnel there called officers to the scene after they observed severe bruising and brain swelling, according to a police report. The boy died the following afternoon.
Police arrested the boy’s mother, Dina Palmer, 27, and stepfather, Markiece Palmer, 34, and charged them with the murder of the boy. Investigators said that Palmer “stood by and let her husband” shake and beat the boy to death.
According to KLAS, the arrest report detailed “open abrasions on [Arrington's] buttocks, severe bruising to his thighs, marks and bruises on his back and shoulders and evidence of previous beatings.”
Markiece Palmer stated the second grade student was spanked on Nov. 27 because he had lied about reading the Bible; he said the boy was also spanked the following day for not finishing his homework, according to police.
Police claim the boy’s stepfather beat him with a spatula, belt and possibly a wooden paddle. Dina Palmer allegedly struck her son on his buttocks with both a belt and her hand.
The couple reportedly called a pastor before dialing 911. KSNV writes, “Pastor Kenneth Hollingsworth says he’s as shocked as anyone that Markiece Palmer chose to call him before first-responders.”
The Palmers appeared in court Tuesday and each face charges of murder, child abuse and neglect, the station reports.

Agege Bread Now Sells In London

The entrepreneurial savvy of the average Nigerian is not to be taken for a joke or trifled with. When our correspondent came across an Agege Bread shop in London, he was stuck in disbelief.
Undoubtedly Agege Bread has infiltrated the cosmopolitan city of London.
Agege Bread is a loaf of bread made popular by the bakers from the same Lagos suburb that make the bread. Millions of Lagosians are familiar with the delicacy and have it as a regular part of their balanced diet.
Now some savvy entrepreneur has taken the concept to London, England and is making a small fortune baking and delivering Nigerian styled loaves to lovers of baked products in the Queen’s own country.
One noticeable difference about the difference in the London made Agege bread is the packaging is more professional and appealing than the locally made version. However that is simply a testament to the enabling environment that a country like Great Britain affords its citizens and migrants.
According to the website of the company, “The idea of providing home away from home in England for an average Nigerian in diaspora, to enjoy quality and home taste Nigerian conventional food at the lowest possible price, was our aim that gave birth to London Agege bread.
In 2005 from the East end of London, the dream was born and has since spread across the UK and Europe. From a dream, it has grown to become a household name all over London, Northern Ireland and Europe, a corporate brand and a quality standard in the bakery/confectionery industry in England offering quality, comfort and home taste satisfaction in diaspora for Nigerians and Europeans also other Africans individuals, groups, churches, mosques and other corporate organisations.”
At its South East London, Deptford Street address, diners can not only buy bread, they can choose from a plethora of other soulful dishes that immediately transport the diner mentally to a Bukka in Nigeria.

33 year old Mom Beats Son To Death, Burns His Corpse

A British jury on Wednesday found a mother who beat her seven-year-old son to death for failing to learn the Quran by heart guilty of murdering him and burning his body to hide the evidence.
33-year-old Sara Ege, a mathematics graduate from India, treated her son Yaseen Ali like a “dog”, beating him with a stick when he failed to memorise religious texts, Cardiff Crown Court in Wales heard.
Yaseen Ali… beaten to death
Yaseen died in July 2010. It was initially thought that he had been killed in a fire at the family home in Pontcanna, Cardiff, but tests later revealed that he was dead before the blaze began.
Ege denied killing her son, but blamed her husband instead. Yousef Ege, 38, was later cleared of failing to prevent the death of his son.
Sara Ege confessed to the murder, but later retracted the confession saying she had been forced into it by a threat of violence from her husband and his family.
Ege was found guilty of murder and of perverting the course of justice, and will be sentenced next year.
In her confession, which was recorded by police and shown to the jury, Ege detailed how her son had collapsed on the day of his death still murmuring extracts from the Koran, the holy book of Islam.
She described undressing Yaseen when he collapsed and soiled himself, then dragging him to the kitchen to feed him milk.
The child was left lying naked on the kitchen floor still reciting extracts from the Koran as she poured him the drink.
He took only a few sips before his mother dragged and pushed him to his bedroom and told him to get dressed.
When he proved incapable she dressed him herself and left him on a rug by his bed, claiming she believed he had fallen asleep.
Ten minutes later she returned to find Yaseen shaking and shivering on the floor and gulping a final breath before dying.
Ege decided to burn his body and went to fetch barbecue gel from the kitchen. She told police she decided to destroy his corpse because “I was too nervous”.
She claimed she could not stop herself beating her son and repeatedly pledged to God that she would not do it again, but her good intentions only lasted a few days.
The court heard how, after she was charged with murder, Ege had what appears to have been a breakdown and was sent to a psychiatric unit for several months. At various times she claimed to have been motivated by voices from the devil.
Wednesday’s verdict came at the end of the second trial in the case. A jury at the same court earlier this year was discharged for failing to reach a verdict.

Photos: Meet Nigeria’s First “White Corper”

Some might say there is nothing fantastic about it; then they might even go on and explain how it could be possible to have a white man participating in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme, and they would be right!
Well, he is, of course, a Nigerian – a white Nigerian, and his name is Mohammed Jammal.
Profiled by a blogger, Kayode Ogundamisi, this “white Nigerian” says “Nigeria is the only country I know. It is my homeland and with all its challenges it is a place that will make substantial progress if we all decide to commit ourselves to his betterment.”
Twenty-five-year-old Mohammed Jammal, was in fact born in the city of Jos, Plateau State and is currently in the NYSC Orientation Camp in Nasarawa State.
